Mary graduated from St. Loye’s School of Occupational Therapy in the United Kingdom in 1986 and has been practicing in the USA since 1993. She earned a degree in Healthcare and Social Welfare from Manchester University in 1992, Massage Therapy Licensure in 1996 and certification NDT techniques in 1994. She has continued to earn accreditation in specialized techniques in the fields of adult rehabilitation and in child development. Experience in workplace settings has included specialized neuro-rehab settings to home health, school practice to private practice.

Mary owns and operates her own pediatric practice: Sensational Kids LLC in the US and New Brain Technologies, Ltd operating in the United Kingdom.  She is currently developing a new program: “Brain Focus International” based in Sarasota, Florida dedicated to helping older students who have “fallen through the cracks” and find themselves overwhelmed by academic and socio-emotional pressures. She serves on the Clinical Advisory Board and AOTA liaison for Interactive Metronome and travels nationally and internationally as an instructor for Integrated Listening Systems and for Interactive Metronome Certification courses. Mary authored the Advanced IM Pediatric Best Practice live and online courses and co-authored the Advanced IM Adult best practice manual. She is currently working on creating learning modules for professionals to gain accreditation in IM techniques via virtual learning platforms.

Mary loves to teach and enjoys the wealth of experience that comes from crossing paths with fellow professionals.
