Polyvagal Practice employs a bottom-up approach to calm the nervous system and in doing so foster self-awareness, resilience, improved cognitive processing, and wellness.
Our Approach blends proven interventions for lasting change for disorders including mental health, PTSD, attention, anxiety, sensory processing, executive function, autism, auditory processing, sleep, brain fog, chronic fatigue, Prader Willi Syndrome, dyslexia, learning challenges, CVA and Head Injuries.
We provide support to clients of all ages across the spectrum of emotional, behavioural, neurodevelopmental, and neurological difficulties. Joanne has a special interest in ASD and cognitive/memory challenges of older adults.
Often associated with mental health challenges are problems with health and wellness including gastrointestinal, autoimmune, and body aches and pains. Our holistic approach includes helping such issues because the brain and body work together.

1. Polyvagal Self Awareness- learn own autonomic state- fight/flight/freeze- triggers and calmers
2. Neuroregulation tools such as Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Biofeedback, or Focus System) to facilitate bottom-up neural regulation
3. Brain and Body integration for future wellness
